Packing guide

Please see below for the packing instructions that we recommend for storage and shipping. Following these can make your storage and shipping process a lot easier!

✅ Must Be:
1. Boxes must be made from double-walled cardboard for maximum protection.
2. Goods must be packed tightly so that items cannot move around inside the box.
3. Suitcases must be placed inside a Kit Keeper box or another strong double-walled cardboard box.
4. Crockery, glassware, and other fragile goods must be packed in a crockery box.
5. Each box must be clearly labelled with all labels provided by Kit Keeper.
6. Any suitcases or bags must also be boxed in double-walled cardboard boxes.
7. Musical instruments must be packed in hard cases.
8. Printers, TVs, monitors, and other electrical items must be packed in their original packaging.
9. Bicycles, skis, and snowboards must be suitably protected inside a hard protective casing.

❌ Must Not Be:
1. Items must not exceed 25KG or 75 × 55 × 55cm (extra costs may apply).
2. Plastic boxes or unboxed items are not accepted (may result in loss, damage, or additional fees).
3. Do not use single-walled cardboard or any other type of non-approved box.
4. Bin bags, plastic bags, laundry bags, or canvas bags are not permitted.
5. Musical instruments in soft cases or unboxed will not be accepted.
6. Bicycles, skis, or snowboards not packed in a double-walled box or specialist bag are not allowed.
7. Do not pack liquids, chemicals, or food items.

Anything that is collected which meets the 'Must Not Be' section, can be subject to extra charges which have been passed on to us from our partners, which will be charged to the customer. Additionally, there can be risks of loss or damage which we won't be liable for, so best to follow the recommendations!
