Prohibited items

There are a couple of things that we do not allow to be stored or shipped with us, based on the terms and conditions of us and our partners.

❌ Prohibited Items Include:
- Illegal items in England, Scotland, or Wales.
- Liquids or semi-liquid foods of any kind.
- Perishable goods.
- Non-perishable foods, unless securely packed to prevent damage or attracting vermin.
- Animals or living creatures, including birds, fish, insects, or any living or deceased biological material.
- Weapons or replicas, including explosive weapons, ammunition, swords, or similar items.
- Sharp objects such as knives or kitchen utensils, unless the blade is fully protected with suitable material.
- Combustible or flammable materials, including liquids or compressed gases (e.g. aerosols, petrol, diesel, oil, gas, artificial fertiliser, cleaning solvents).
- Chemicals or hazardous substances, including radioactive materials, biological agents, or household cleaners.
- Toxic waste, asbestos, or any materials of a dangerous nature.
- Any other toxic, flammable, or hazardous substance classified as such under applicable law.
- Specialised equipment containing electronic and/or fragile components.
- Batteries of any type.
- Glass, crockery, and other fragile items, unless packed within a crockery box.
- Goods containing glass elements or other fragile components not properly protected.
- Electronics not packed in their original packaging, and small kitchen appliances (e.g. rice cookers, kettles, air fryers).
- Jewellery or antiques.
- Any items deemed unacceptable by Kit Keeper at its discretion, on a case-by-case basis.

These items are restricted from being collected by us. If we discover any of these items, we can dispose of them or extra charges may apply.
